Strong and Mindful Women’s Yoga Retreat

I love the idea of a retreat but I’m not sure about yoga. What can I expect?
This retreat will include a 60-minute guided yoga practice for any level whether this is your first time or you are an experienced yogi! If you prefer, you can have a peaceful meditation during the yoga practice.
What will I need to bring?
- A yoga mat.
- In addition to yoga attire, you are welcome to bring comfortable clothes to wear after the yoga practice.
- Walking shoes and a jacket for our nature walk outside.
Is lunch included?
Yes! We will have a healthy, delicious lunch for you and also a healthy snack available after the yoga practice.
Where do I park?
The retreat will be held inside the Snowbird Tram Center. Enter at “Snowbird Mountain Resort – Entry 2.” The Oktoberfest booths will occupy a portion of the parking lot during this time of the year. Plan to arrive to the Snowbird Mountain Resort to give yourself the opportunity to enjoy a few minutes of fresh air and mountain scenery as you walk from the parking lot to the Snowbird Tram Center. An estimated time for this experience is about 10-15 minutes.
Do I need to bring a notebook?
A Strong & Mindful Workbook and pen are included to use throughout the retreat. This Workbook will also include opportunities to continue implementing these empowering tools at home.
What relaxation techniques will be taught?
Relaxation techniques centering on the neck, shoulders, back and feet will be taught with self-massaging yoga tune-up therapy balls. You’ll get to take one with you!
What ages is this retreat designed for?
This retreat is designed for women ages 18 and up.
What if I need to arrive late, leave early, or can only attend a portion of the retreat?
Come anyway! You are welcome to attend and enjoy what works best for you!
What does the price for the retreat cover?
The tuition covers the beautiful Snowbird Retreat Conference Room, lunch, the Strong & Mindful Workbook, and the yoga tune-up therapy ball. Our intent is not to make money, but to create a beautiful retreat for women to enjoy and connect.
